In July 2023, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) introduced the Consumer Duty — a set of rules designed to make sure financial services businesses always put their customers’ needs first. In simple terms, it means you should receive clear, fair, and supportive advice that helps you achieve good outcomes and protects you from avoidable harm.
That’s why we are now required to offer all clients a Financial Resilience Review. This is a short, no-cost session where we look at how well your income and lifestyle are protected against life’s unexpected events such as illness, injury, or even death. For families, this is especially important, as your financial commitments may need to stretch further with your children’s future to think about too.
