The Best Mortgage Group team includes three key people
Ian Wicks
Director, Mortgage, Protection and Equity Release Specialist
Ian is an expert in mortgages and whole-of-market equity release with a passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of their financial journeys. With over three decades of experience, he is a trusted advisor, and he can guide you towards making informed decisions that align with your unique goals and aspirations.
Ian says: “Our company is made up of nice people handling important stuff for other nice people and we’ll help you feel comfortable discussing your needs and concerns. I offer jargon-free consultations and I absolutely love making good things happen for all our clients. So as an equity release and mortgage expert I am devoted to helping you secure your financial futures and maximise your assets.”
In his spare time, Ian plays cricket (and will continue to do so until his knees say “No!”), and has recently discovered Padel Tennis. He is married, with two stepdaughters and two dogs.
Qualifications: DipFA (Diploma in Financial Advice), CeRER (Certificate in Equity Release), and he is part of MLIBF (London Institute of Banking and Finance).
Holly Knight
Case Manager and Underwriter
Holly has been a Case Manager and Underwriter in the home lending industry for around 10 years now and still loves the job as much as the first day. She started as an admin and worked her way up throughout the years.
Holly says: “It’s such a fast-paced industry and no two days are ever the same. If you have a financial need (mortgage, equity release, protection), I love to listen, understand any potential problems you may have, help find a solution, and put a plan into action. Diligence is a key strength of mine, so I will package your case to the highest of standards before presenting it to the lender. Trust me it does improve your success rate.”
In her spare time, Holly loves her family & fast cars (especially Formula One).
Loreta Kavaliauskaite
Mortgage Adviser
Loreta is a Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
Loreta says: “A very important part of my job is to understand your needs (as a client) and find the most suitable solution available on the market. I love the complex cases and can often help people secure deals when they’ve been previously declined. Finally, my attention to detail and good knowledge of mortgage eligibility criteria helps me to make fast and valid decisions and enhance your overall client experience.”
In Loreta’s spare time she loves to be by the sea as it’s good for the soul. And basically, the hotter the better in terms of climate!
